The Gateway District ...

is home to 23 Clubs, covering a region south of the Brisbane River to Logan City,
and east to include the islands of Moreton Bay.

Umpire Accreditation Re-accreditation

The next Umpires accreditation/re-accreditation will be held at Capalaba in the Gateway District Office (located at the Capalaba Bowls Club) on the 11th and 12th April, 2015.

The course will commence at 9.00 am and finish no later than 4.00 pm each day.

The course will include the marker, measurer and umpire modules. Each module takes approximately 4 to 5 hours and involves full interaction between the presenter and the course participants.

Participants are required to bring a pen, paper, current law book and the officiating manual supplied by Bowls Queensland.

Players wishing to participate in the course, if you haven’t already, please complete the relevant application form (available in the 'forms package' from Bowls Queensland), forward same with the relevant fee to Bowls Queensland.

Meals can be bought by the participants or meals are available for purchase at Capalaba.

Participants are asked to please read the manual - this will save time.
